We had the most wonderful 4th of July. Valerie and her family came over about 1:30 in the afternoon. We set a small pool up and the girls swam, and tried really hard not to splash us. Val, Jody, Alexis and Valerie played catch. We BBQ'd kabobs, and hotdogs. There was frog-eye salad, pasta salad, and hot fudge sundae's for dessert. Then we loaded up and went to watch the fireworks.
We kept one eye on the country clubs fireworks, and one eye on the lightening storm that was moving in. The timing was perfect. We got home and ready for bed and the storm hit in all it's fury. We loved it. The rain was heavy, and watered our lawns. They really needed it. Lovely day.
